At Lady Bees Apiary, every jar tells the story of our hills, our flowers, and the quiet devotion of the bees who make it all possible. Pure, raw, and harvested right here in the heart of Vermont's foothills.
Lady Bees Apiary began with a simple belief: that the best honey comes from happy bees in healthy habitats. Nestled on Birnam Road in Northfield, our small apiary is a labor of love — each colony tended with patience, respect, and a deep connection to the local ecosystem.
We don't rush the process. Our bees forage freely across wildflower meadows and woodlands, gathering nectar the way nature intended. The result is honey with a depth of flavor that can only come from a specific place and time — true terroir, bottled.
Every product is a direct expression of our land — harvested with care, bottled with intention, and unlike anything you'll find in a supermarket.

Inquire at the farmWe believe transparency matters. Here's what goes into every jar of Lady Bees honey.
Our colonies roam free across Northfield's wildflower corridors, collecting nectar from blooming meadows and woodlands.
We check hives regularly, only harvesting frames that are fully capped — a sign the honey has reached perfect ripeness.
Using a cold-extraction spinner, we gently remove honey from the comb without heat or filtration, preserving enzymes and pollen.
Jarred on-site and ready for pickup at our Northfield farm stand. No middlemen, no preservatives — just honey, as it should be.
The best compliment we get is when someone takes a bite and says, "This tastes like home."
"I can't believe how different real raw honey tastes compared to what I've had before. This is the real deal — you can taste the flowers in every spoonful."
"The cut comb honey is absolutely incredible. My family drives from Greenfield just to pick it up. It's become our weekend tradition."
"I bought the beeswax candles as a gift and ended up ordering more for myself. The quality is outstanding, and it's wonderful to support a real local operation."
